This has to be the worst attempted wind-up I've ever encountered.

Ha ha. The arrogance of it. It must be a wind up because someone is disagreeing with you.

Mr I'm always right and I'll act like a petulant child if you defy me

That was the old me, I'm a changed man. In this case though, what have we disagreed on? Just seems like you're having a moan to be honest. Something upset you today Boggers?

They appoint a guy who had us dead bottom when we got rid....for a guy with a ton of international contacts etc.  not saying pierce was great but a glance at the table reveals Forest are doing better than us.  Just goes to show that some Chairmen at other clubs are equally as daft as ours.  scratch

It's all relative though isn't it, Forest are desperate to get into the premier league and have spent a fortune trying. Anything less than top 6 and their chairman isn't going to be happy. His recruitment strategy does seem a bit ridiculous though!

You can argue that when Doogie came here he had Palace ready for promotion ...so looked to be an up and coming manager....but how does the Forest Chairman justify his decision at the moment.  Certainly a strange one.

the only thing i can think of is he worked under financial constraints with us and  Forest have a transfer embargo for possibly 2 more windows. Perhaps they think he can wheel and deal like a mini Harry?

Perhaps if you'd had to spend money on tickets, petrol, programmes, pies, drinks and parking for 2 years to watch the utter shite football under Freedman you might understand.

It's a bit of a strange one that even the chief executive wasn't even told about Dougie being given the job.

This is going to be a disaster....well it already is from the looks of it.

We better finish in a higher position than NF now.

Unless he changes his football philosophy i can see NF getting relegated.

Being a "good man" who tries his best hardly qualifies him to be a manager of a professional football club.
What drove me to screaming point were his negative, tedious tactics, and his illogical and contradictory pronouncements and actions that implied that he knew better than everyone else when they were plainly ludicrous.
He alienated the fans and the players. He was stubborn and deluded. Frankly, he had me wondering about his sanity.
Best of luck, Forest; you'd better hope he has changed, but willingness to accept that he had been wrong and to change for the better seemed foreign concepts in his time here.
