Sad news. Still watch the odd episode even now.
Wherever he is,it's certainly not 'where no man has gone before'. RIP.

Why don't they just send him to that planet where they regenerated him in The Wrath of Khan after the radiation killed him last time?
Seems an obvious solution to me.

He was 83. Being a heavy smoker he did well to live as long as he did.

Second hand smoke is touted as being quite deadly. That wasn't a crass question at all.

That's right Keegan my mother had it and had never smoked at all but they ran a pub in ardwick for a number of years also a plasterer I know in his fifties has it bad and he said as he only smoked for about a year as a teenager it's been put down to the dust he's been inhaling also a neighbour of mine has it and has never smoked and was told its a progression of his lifelong asthma does'nt stop him going on holiday to Florida but it's scary to listen to him wheezing and having to sit down a lot. It's a worry to me that you can get it from second hand smoke as I have worked in that type of environment over the years a lot.Keegan wrote:Second hand smoke is touted as being quite deadly. A short while ago you were happy that I agreed to let things go and I have and since then this is the second dig you have had at me why don't you just leave it alone? There is no need for you or me to have contact,I am happy not to respond to any of your posts which I have been doing any chance of you doing the same because I don't like you bread and it's not going to change and neither are you.Breadman wrote:Jake McHale wrote:Is or was he a smoker Bonce ?boltonbonce wrote:COPD. Now been diagnosed with lung cancer as well.
His sense of humour is still in tact. Last week he challenged me to a game of blow football!
We've all heard tales of people who smoked 80 a day and lived to a ripe old age,but in my opinion smoking usually has its evil way.
Live long and prosper.

it was on the news that he was a heavy smoker but gave up 30 years ago. Just shows what damage the fags can do even if you stop.

30 years ago? He will have regenerated his body tissue 4 times in that period so it's a stretch to blame smoking.
Illogical Captain.
