Songs.
There's literally loads of 'em knocking about if you know where to look.
I reckon there's at least a few hundred, if not more.
So what's your favourite lyric (the words) of all time?
It may be something that you heard that spoke to your soul and moved you to tears.
It may be something clever that made you see things differently.
Or it may just be something that made you piss your sides laughing.
Mine's by (in my humble opinion) one of this nation's greatest ever wordsmiths, Nigel Blackwell esq.
"Who...?" I hear you all shout.
He's the man behind the criminally under appreciated Half Man Half Biscuit, a band I've followed for nearly thirty years.
The line is: "There's a man with a mullet going mad with a mallet in Millets!" and it comes from a song called National Shite Day.
Pure genius in my book.
What's yours?
