Elvis for me used to watch his films when I was a kid, so it was more about them than his singing, got into listening to his music in my 40's but rarely listen to him now.
Cliff, remember him for For Living Doll and Summer Holliday also a couple of Films.
Cliff wouldn't get into my 50 all time favourite singers, Elvis might, if I could be bothered to do a list
