Thinking about fitting a wireless house alarm for ease than having to wire one in.

Has anyone got any experience on these or wired alarms for that matter? Smile

No, but if they're wire less can thieves not be able to tap in or block the system?

Iphone 7 will be able to do anything.

Yes-our house has about 6 sensors/detectors which cover all entry points including windows. You can isolate some of them- e.g upstairs ones in case you are going to the loo during the night.
They work off a handset and key fobs. ADT installed it- it wasn't cheap  and it costs about £300 a year so that its constantly monitored.
It's only gone off once in anger- when the Christmas tree fell over one Christmas Eve. They quickly traced us on mobile phone and by the time I got back-  we were  in  a boozer about 10 minutes away, the police had arrived to check over the property.
I'm away from home at the minute-- but I've got a lot of confidence in the system.
If you've got the dosh- then go for it

Mine's called Frank (Doberman) and his mate Miller (The Killer) and they only eat when i give it to them,  better than any alarm.

I thought I would update this thread due to getting a wireless alarm system and fitting it a couple of weeks ago.

Ended up buying a Friedland Response (part of Honeywell) wireless alarm system and took me a couple of afternoons to install and configure.

Have to say that it's a fantastic bit of kit and it cost just shy of £200 with an extra keyfob!

If anyone is thinking to purchase one in the future then I would recommend one of these depending on the size of your house although it is expandable.

I'm on my best behaviour today, i promise!

It won't last, probably not even until lunch time.
