No, i'm never cocky. That's not me. I do wish him all the best. But i do think he could have stayed and helped us. And i understand him too, he wants to try and find another bigger club..

Rebel was saying NRC was being cocky, not you inf.

At the end of the day he will still be earning more in a couple of weeks ago than most of us will earn in a year - so he still gets the last laugh I suppose.

Oh. My apologies, Rebel! I completely misunderstood. Wink

Bolton striker David N'Gog has emerged as a target for Italian club Pescara, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Pescara, who were crowned Serie B champions last term, are on the hunt for a new forward as they prepare to start their first season in the Italian top-flight in 20 years.
Manager Giovanni Stroppa has examined a range of options over the past few months, but he is believed to have set his sights on N'Gog, who managed just three Premier League goals last season as Bolton succumbed to relegation.

However, despite those less than impressive statistics, Stroppa believes the former Liverpool man can build on his early promise and could launch a bid for the 23-year-old in the coming weeks.

Is this really true that NRC could be joining Hull? That is incredible if it is true.

To be fair to NRC he was excellent for us last season, I didn't see a player try harder than him, I didn't blame him for exercising the clause in his contract to leave so that he was on a bosman again. I am really surprised no one decent came in for him, I think he'd do a great job for a team like Stoke.

I wish him luck if his next club is with Hull, I am sure NRC will be very disappointed with the way things have worked out if that is the case though.

I'll laugh my tits off if he ends up at Hull the cocky bastard. He really thought Aston Villa or Swansea were going to sign him the deluded twat.

I don't understand that. What would you have done if you were NRC? Would you not have exercised the get out clause?

It seems to me that people are a bit bitter that he exercised the get out clause and are glad no one has come in for him. He was one player who can't be criticised last season, he deserves a bit better than that.

He spent the entire season having a pop at other players for not pulling their weight and having no passion, then hands in his transfer request hours after we get relegated.

He was our captain, he should have had the balls to step up and see the job through in the Championship. But at the very least he should have waited a few weeks before handing in his transfer request.

Sorry but that's a load of rubbish. He was good because he put in the effort and genuinely looked bothered, which is far more than we can say for most. But excellent? Do me a favour he was as guilty as anyone for giving the ball away cheaply, all he had was a great engine, when it comes down to it he was never worth the reported £60,000 a week wages.

The big criticism I have of Reo-Coker is that he had 6 weeks to decide he was off, but couldn't wait to fuck off. That didn't impress me much.

Only a few days to go and it all seems to have gone quiet. Still think we need at least one. Anybody heard anything? Rumours? Speculation? Anything?

That was news the second Sanchez walked - I still think he could be a good signing for us. He can tackle, pass, work like a bastard and there's the additional benefit of his stunning good looks which will distract the opposition.

I would be hard pressed to think of a more boring signing. A defender called Chris.

21 year old winner of their young player of the year and player of the year last season. Right back, sounds like a good signing if it comes off. It won't though.

We don't need a right-back so I can't believe we're interested.

I'm getting tired of all of this speculation. How many players have we been linked with over the summer- and today comes another one whom Coyle has been 'tracking' - Solly . And guess what? Big Sam has also been tracking him. Apparently we have a bid on the table.

Also apparently we're the hot favourites to land Spearing. But 4 other clubs are interested too. And NRC might be returning.

I'm not going to read any more until there's someone actually wearing a white shirt with BWFC on it. All these rumours are just starting to piss me off. Now - someone is going to come back and tell me that that's the nature of football today- rumour ,counter rumour, speculation, half truth and a whole litany of more crap.

But it doesn't stop it pissing me off

Henri Lansbury joins Nottingham Forest from Arsenal

Nottingham Forest have signed England Under-21 midfielder Henri Lansbury from Arsenal for a fee believed to be in excess of £1m.

This has annoyed me, why haven't we been even remotely interested? A proven player in the Championship, very young, bags of potential.

Can pass, gets stuck in, according to many reports hes good of the ball, making clever runs and space, AND has experience playing in two promoted teams.

AND by the sounds of it only cost £1-2 million.

To not even be linked I find disappointing
