Julian James Kelly - is his full name.
Not found it on Nixon's tweets but he's on right now and tweeting as there is no tomorrow - I get the impression that he thinks the Sanchez deal will be done.
"The boy came back in last night. He and agent in there right now. Take scarves and banners. Sing the Colombian anthem".

Oh ok just on his twitter he calls himself "liverpool born" and yet that wiki page says born in London.
thats where my confusion came from.

Don't know - you could be right - but as far as I can tell there is only the one Kelly at Notts County.

Not sure if I have read twitter right or I have the wrong end of the stick but I think Sanchez is going to sign for someone else instead of us.

Nixon says it is us or nobody else right now and the deal as to be done today.
He says we are talking to him and his agent right now.
Can't see why Nixon would make things up but then again don't believe anything until you see the club officially announce the signing.
I always think the gossip part is all the fun we have (football wise) over the summer months!

Ah fair enough, I mis-read some of the posts.
Fingers crossed something official is released before the game tomorrow.

sorry, im still giggling at the Rio situation... hes having a medical apparently!
hmm... do a season in the championship,
getting my massive wages at Bolton, maybe even win some silverware, hell
they are favourites to win the league! no... I think il leave and try
and sign for a massive European giant as im such an amazing player! so
il use the clause in my contact to leave if you dont mind...
2 months pass... nothing.... im getting worried now.
3 months pass... starting to
feel like a bit of a tit now.
present day... hmm, I cant skulk back to Bolton as im a big proud
amazing world class player who is going to be earning double what I was
on at Bolton while storming round Europe... clubs must just be just
biding there time...
few days later, hes sweating...
so...
Nigel Rio-coker is currently undergoing a medical at...
HULL CITY... EPIC EPIC FAIL THERE REALLY RIO... TIT! LOL!

Yes he's a tit, but its a good signing for Hull along with him they have Abdoulaye Faye, Sone Aluko, Robert Koren and Matty Fryatt. Bruce is a decent manager at this level too, they could do well this year.

I'm really confused though, how can he turn down Fulham but accept an offer from Hull a week or two later? Doesn't make sense.

That's mildly interesting. He must have been trying to hold out for Real Madrid but his agent lost the fax...

I agree with LH - why turn down Fulham and then accept a deal for Hull? Anyway, i wish little miss Reo all the best.

I think this is whats known as being cocky, thinking your better than you are and 'dropping a bollok'

It's slightly embarrassing for him but nothing more.
Clearly he wanted to "test" free agency, something he wouldn't have been able to do if he stayed. I.E He wouldn't have known if anyone wanted him or not.
A similar thing happened to him at Villa if you remember when he said he had offers from Seria A and La Liga and ended up here, much to the amusement of the Villa fans.
You'd think he'd have learnt that his star doesn't quite reach those heights.
Anyway, all the best to him.

No, i'm never cocky. That's not me. I do wish him all the best. But i do think he could have stayed and helped us. And i understand him too, he wants to try and find another bigger club..

Rebel was saying NRC was being cocky, not you inf.
At the end of the day he will still be earning more in a couple of weeks ago than most of us will earn in a year - so he still gets the last laugh I suppose.
