Jimmy Bullard anyone? He's left Ipswich by mutual consent - a bit old now though

Bullard is a very good player at this level, unfortunately he's injured as often as Ngog.

Clearly he's head isn't in the game anymore, considering the kind of crap he got up to at Ipswich, he's finished IMO

Ryo has just signed for Wigan on a season-long loan.
Hopefully this will put paid to their interest in CYL.

I would look at Bullard but only on a paid per game basis.
We can't turn our noses up at anybody at the moment.
Ryo is no great loss IMO .... he had flashes but looked weak in the end.

Aparantly Swansea coming back with an improved bid of £6 million for Mark Davies
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Laudrup now proposing a £6million deal for the midfielder he hopes can fill Joe Allen's old role - but Trotters value him at £10m
Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has slapped in a new £6million offer for Bolton midfielder Mark Davies as he tries to replace Joe Allen.
After selling Allen to Liverpool for £15m, Laudrup's money-men have backed him with an improvement on a straight cash £4m bid for Davies that was rejected by the Championship club.
Wanderers rate Davies at £10m, and are likely to also turn down the increased package of £5m guaranteed, plus a possible further £1m.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle is already looking for one midfielder - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - and does not want to bring in two.

£40,000 per week and £2,000,000 up front...
That is ridiculous.

Yep. Maybe his agent got us confused with QPR.

Selling to Stoke would rival the pain of selling to Wigan. Surely Coyle and co wouldn't be dim enough to sell him now??

The journalist who I think will have reported this suggested that he thinks we'll want too much, but there's a willingness on Lee's part to make it happen...

I can believe Lee would want to go to Stoke.
Wigan offered Bolton £2.5m for Lee and were turned down flat, although the player indicated he did not want to go to Wigan anyway. Hence why they took Miyaichi on loan.

apparently...
according to nixons tweets.
we HAVE made a signing - a defender called Julian Kelly from notts county (never heard of him, hes 22 so fits in to coyles young philosophy... but the fact hes 22 and ive never heard of him worries me... he cant be any good can he?)
also... Sanchez arrived AGAIN minus his agent at Manchester airport last night...
take from that what you will...

I know more about sanchezs agent than I do about the actual player himself after this, coyle must really want this guy.
As for Julian Kelly, never hear of the lad but I will give him a chance to see what he is made of before having ago at him or coyle.

I'd imagine he is a decent player, coyle doesn't normally do this with players from past transfers we have made and missed out on.

I would love to see the video IF he does sign...
at the training ground, going through the motions to prepare for the Derby County Game (or playing table tennis, darts or drinking real ale - whatever it is coyle does with them)
Rio skulks back asking for a new deal after just turning down a lucrative offer from Grimsby town...
the hulk tells him to bugger off... this is MY manor now!
