You're too modest, Natasha. Didn't you once rub shoulders with Benny from 'Crossroads' next to the sanitary products gondola at Safeway in Leamington Spa?

Sorry, I've just realised you told me about that in a PM.

I used to own the Nautilus gym at the bottom end of the Parade. Sold it in the late 80s. Liked Leamington.

Wow, small world. Leam is a great town. Lived there for a couple of years doing post grad study.

Apparently Coyle has met Sanchez this weekend.

From Bolton news:

"Wanderers have offered Carlos Sanchez a take-it or leave-it deal to anchor their midfield this season.

The highly-rated Colombia international has finally met with the club after flying in at the weekend but, with Owen Coyle desperate to land a ball-winner, he will not be given time to dwell on whether he wants to play at the Reebok."

Nixon from the Mirror says, Swansea's bid to sign Bolton's Mark Davies. Seen as Joe Allen replacement. Bid refused but will go up.

Swansea are one of these clubs who are tightly run, I'd be surprised if they don't have a fixed maximum amount they are willing to pay for Davies that they will not exceed.....and it will not be mega-bucks if we do sell him to them.

The mail reported that story ages ago, and phil gartside called it bollocks.

Must be some truth to it

I'm sick of your negativity towards the club and its employees. We just won 3-1 and someone scored three goals. In the same week!

While not a transfer story for us as such, I found this tidbit quite interesting...

Ian Holloway is excited by the potential of James Caton after the young winger agreed a deal to sign for Blackpool following a successful trial. Caton was released by Bolton at the end of the season.

Ollie sees potential where OC didn't? Sounds familiar though - in a Joe McKee kind of way.

I used to follow the young lads (not in a Catholic Priest sort of way though) and used to hear good things about him.

The Bolton news reporting on Fulham bidding £3million for Ngog now:

FULHAM are lining up a £3million bid for Wanderers striker David Ngog.
Martin Jol is looking to land the Frenchman after losing out on Huddersfield Town's Jordan Rhodes and is expected to make a formal approach for the 23-year-old today.

Ngog was linked with a move to St Etienne last month but Owen Coyle said at the time that he would not contemplate a sale.

Wanderers paid Liverpool £4million for Ngog 12 months ago but he managed just four goals in 27 starts in all competitions after struggling with a knee injury for the first half of the campaign.

He has yet to play a full game in pre-season either, with a back problem currently preventing him from training – although Coyle hopes to have him fit for the opening day of the season at Burnley.

It's complete bullshit and will never happen. If I was Fulham I would sue the Bolton News.
