I can't believe we are linked with players like O'Dea. I have seen him play a few times, he is pretty shit.
Why don't we just try and loan someone decent? Everyone knows we really help develop players like Wilshere and Sturridge. I think we should see if we can loan Phil Jones, Chris Smalling or Johnny Evans on loan. They won't need all 3 of them when they have Vidic and Ferdinand. Maybe we could try sign Giggs on a free too. He is surely no longer required at United. Maybe whilst we're at it we could loan Anderson for the defensive midfield position, he seems well out of favour.

Once again Michael you have demonstrated a certain naïveté in your expectations.
I think with Fergie's propensity for developing younger players, we should be looking to help facilitate this by taking Vidic or Ferdinand. Vidic will benefit from being eased back into first team action at a lower level after his long term injury, and providing we have a gentleman's agreement not to play him at Millwall, Ferdinand will profit from a half season away from racial abuse and the politics of being away from the international scene. Win-win.

Can we not loan Fergie for a year...?
I'm sure we will see better results next season, & she can even sing at half time and do some girl on girl at the fans forums..
I'm always thinking..

I know mich is being tongue in cheek but sadly this is the world were in now.
we'll be looking at loans and cast offs + maybe a couple of older journeymen.

The likes of Ian Marshall & Gareth Farally (sp) got us out this division last time, we are going to have to face up to the realisation that those types will be here again...

We had a small problem with new member registration, it didn't seem to be working exactly as it should, so we created one or two new accounts to test that our amendment to the system worked - it did.
Part of the test was making a post or two - after we were satisfied we had got things right we deleted all the test accounts - but it looks like we forgot to delete this random post.

Yes, I created "Largehat's Boyfriend", he had the potential to be massive. Unfortunately only Largehat will ever know if this is true.

According to reports Blackburn Rovers are interested in Colchester United defender Magnus Okuonghae.
It is understood that Rovers boss Steve Kean is eyeing the U’s captain.
However, the 26-year old, who is available as a free agent, is attracting interest from others quarters, with Scottish champions Celtic, Bolton Wanderers and Millwall all believed to among several clubs in the frame.
That said, it has been confirmed that Colchester have offered the defender a new contract to remain with the U’s.
"We have been contacted by a few clubs and Magnus will be considering his options over the coming weeks," his agent Leon Callendar told Sky Sports.

Does no-one else think there's anything slightly strange in Blackburn Rovers battling themselves for this lad's signature? That'll be some bidding war.

He must be a good 'un if he is 26 years old and nobody has been interested until now
Soon we will be looking at non-league players. Do we actually have scouts that are scowering the globe for BWFC. It makes yer wonder.

Time and time again Owen Coyle has proven himself clueless in the transfer market. Expect virtually no action until a few days before the end of the transfer window when he will panic buy two stumps for £5m.

Apparently we are very close to signing Leicester Matt Mills, personally im not sure on him but the reports are he will only be £1.5 mill because he fell out with the manager. He was their captain and signed for 4.5 mill so maybe he does have something to give, and at 1.5 its worth a punt, he can't be worse than Zat can he!?
Also were apparently not far off Carlos Sanchez, a centre mid from Bolivia, not much on him but apparently hes decent and strong, Olympiacos were in for him last summer (don't know what happened though) so he can't be too bad and im willing to welcome any promising centre mid on a free.
So not anything massively exciting but tbh no one was expecting a big name signing. And Coyle has shown he can get good, relatively unknown players for cheap/free (Holden, Ream).
Just as long as we get rid of Knight!!

Random review on Sanchez, not exactly reliable but sounds decent
