Home made chicken pie with a puff pastry lid on top and roast potatoes this evening.
I'm looking forward to it!

Had a beef burger with fancy cheese, onions and bacon along with a 12" pulled pork pizza and a 12" garlic bread with cheese at the new refurbished crown and anchor in Manchester with the Mrs.
Have to say that I ate about 85% of it all!

Lots of pies being consumed you fat fecks! I'm having a healthy shepherds pie with brocolli, carrots and butter beans. Not having Hardy's Stamp Semillon Chardonnay at £19 a bottle, KP (!!!), going to try a Nice chilled Strongbow, $11 a case.

The Hardy's was £4.79 a bottle I think, wouldn't pay 19 quid a bottle!!!
Although sounds a bit naughty, Suki this evening with a bottle of Lidl's finest Pedro Jemenez wine!

Dinner was a mishmash of any old crap left in the fridge and freezer. That's likely to continue over the next week. Mrs. McD is running the stocks down before she and the kids head off to England for 6 weeks. WoooooooooHooooooooooo! Shhhhh!

A butter pie? What's that?
I need all your best pie recommendations for when I'm over in a few weeks. I'll travel… pubs, supermarkets, club houses, garden centres (maybe), whatever it takes to taste a decent pie again.

Always was my favorite too, Magoo. Ever since that unforgettable night in '88.

Wilsons pie shop facing the moss rose in kearsley is my favourite. The peppered steak pies especially.finlaymcdanger wrote:boltonbonce wrote:Giant butter pie from
