I remember the mixed fruit cocktail with hundreds of hard small pieces of pear and 2 halves of flavourless cherry in a vat load of it. My Mum worked for Eden Vale, so we had out of date yogurts with ours. I had a breakfast for tea tonight, as I want it to feel like a 3pm kick off when I watch the England Ladies tonight.karlypants wrote:It does me as well Bonce!boltonbonce wrote:Salad tonight, followed by some tinned mandarin oranges.
Tinned fruit always takes me back. Sunday was always tinned fruit day,and it was always smothered in Carnation condensed milk.
Was always tinned peaches in condensed milk in plastic Tupperware bowls at my grandma and grandads!

You forgot the solitary green grape that somehow found its way into the can, Mand.
My sister and I used to fight over the grape.

Cheese & onion pasty. Burnt to a crisp.
