One of my flatmates sisters came out with us on Friday, she's a few years older but has lived in the bubble of our hometown for all her life and despite being a nice person she's got a fucking warped view of the world.

So when somebody mentioned voting we got talking about who we'd vote for and why, she started talking about how immigration is ruining the country, every major industry is being ruined by it and if we don't leave the EU we'll never stop illegal immigrants ruining the country and London would no longer be a financial capital of the world.

I didn't even know where to start, I told her in as nice a way as I could (out of respect for my mate) that she was talking complete rubbish - big business wants Britain to stay in the EU and coming out of it won't stop illegal immigration etc etc.

She got offended, didn't say a word all night and left in the morning before any of us were up. Scared me a bit to be honest, how had she developed such strong views that were so clearly wrong? I think I underestimate stupidity sometimes.

More cuts if this lot stay in, id rather have Labour in, infact anyone but this lot.

Things are going to get nasty.

surely people can see that Farage is just an old school ultra right wing Tory, think back to the likes of Norman Tebbit, The old witch Maggie would have loved him.

trouble is though Boncey i can see them winning more seats than the Lib Dems and they might have some part in forming a coalition - a very scary prospect if you ask me.

I'm sure you think she does cadet, but for anybody who actually has even the faintest idea of the real world she's talking complete and utter nonsense.

But she has lived in the real world longer than you Mr Child so it might be nonsense to you, but not to real people, like us.

Unfortunately, the BBC's "Poll of Polls" has got The Crazy Kippers in third place on 14% of the vote, behind the Tories on 34% and Labour on 33%:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/politics/poll-tracker

Would Cameron really be stupid enough to get in bed with them if push came to shove?

Bloody hope not.

Don't see it myself. The first past the post system will do for them.
They might win a larger share of the vote than the LibDem's but would only get a fraction of the number of seats.
Time will tell.

No, she hasn't and you've proved why you're clueless on this topic.

Much like you she's never left her hometown properly. So she hasn't had the opportunity to meet and experience immigration in a way other than is delivered by the Daily Mail. So her mind is warped by what the media tell her to believe rather than her own experiences.

Then we'll talk about the real world.

Come on then Scott, let's have some reasons your voting UKIP. I rarely see you post more than one line so some genuine reasoning would be interesting.

So basically, no you can't offer any reasoning for voting for them.
