Sanmi Odelusi signs for Wigan Athletic

Sanmi Odelusi has left Bolton Wanderers and has signed for Sky Bet League One side Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

Academy graduate Odelusi, 22, has been with Bolton since 2009. He made a total of nine appearances for the club, scoring two goals, both of which came against Shrewsbury in a League Cup tie in August 2013.

During his Bolton career Odelusi has also spent time out on loan at MK Dons and Coventry City.

Everyone at Bolton Wanderers would like to wish Sanmi well in his future endeavours.

I'm amazed Wigan have signed him off us. Never going to do it consistently at championship level and still questionable in League 1. 

Seemed like a decent kid though so good luck to him, hope this is all building up to a striker coming in soon.

I had hoped he could step up to the first team but when the likes of Walker and Clough started to overtake him, his number was pretty much up. I wish him well.
