Jordan Lussey returns to Wanderers in permanent deal

Liverpool academy graduate Jordan Lussey has joined Wanderers on a permanent deal.

Having initially linked up with the club on loan towards the latter stages of the 2014/15 campaign, the midfielder impressed for the Whites’ development squad during his temporary stint at Macron Stadium.

Ormskirk-born Lussey came up through the youth ranks at Anfield having joined the Reds as a youngster, eventually captaining their under-21 side.

And following the expiration of his contract with Liverpool, Wanderers have moved to tie the 20-year-old to a one-year contract with Lussey initially set to link up with the club's under-21 and development side.

I've seen twiglets with more meat on them.

I like this kind of signing. Great prospects who have to run themselves into the ground to earn a longer contract or be looking to lesser or lower league teams to take them on. Lots of potential.
