Watched this on BBC 4 catch up last night with another showing tomorrow at 10pm. Anybody watch this? Went back to the rush to get it all built and up and running in the pursuit of the big bang and all the legacy left now. Quite an in depth look as to what goes on behind the scenes and the varying degrees of radiation and dose rates generated.
As an aside to this the programme that followed was the pursuit of the wartime bomb by the Yanks after an initial thought that Hitler was in full pursuit of the same, which of course he was.
The big movers and groovers in this field were predominantly of Jewish extract, how ironic then, that if Adolf had perhaps held off with his persecution he may well have been in a better position to do an Enola Gay than the Yanks?
