i'd be very surprised if Hall can play, most teams don't let their players play against them when they go out on loan

Good news, thanks Boggers.

For me we need to win this game, there's very little positivity after the Boro game and although it's too early to worry about points a poor performance here will really knock confidence. Hopefully Madine's fit to start and Lennon reverts to 4 at the back.

I think our fans have overreacted with the loss to Boro. Not many teams will go their and win, fully expect is to be too strong for MKD. Lennon definitely needs to be more adventurous away from home

True, but neither will many teams go there and surrender inside 35 minutes.

When Lennon first arrived he set the team up to play attacking football. He used attack as the best form of defence. It seems the more time he spends here the more negative he becomes. The team is changing the managers mentality rather than the other way round. Defence is clearly not the best form of defence for us so I would like to see us try and attack teams for a change. We spend so much time worrying about how to nullify the opposition we forget to actually go forward and have a shot at goal ourselves. 


At the risk of sounding overly negative, which just isn't me usually, that is exactly what deluded Douglas used to do.

Surely this is the basis of the managerial dilemma i.e. striking the right balance. Easy if you have class players, less so with what we've got.

Hard to imagine anything other than a defeat because we only seem to do horrendous starts to seasons these days.

The other three games are quite worrying to look back on. The Derby match was encouraging at the time, but it's now looking like they're not as strong as everyone thought. Yes a lot of teams will probably get beat at Boro this season, but will they all get absolutely mauled? Then there's the cup match where a pretty "strong" team just wasn't good enough against a League One side.
