It's a shame that kids today will never experience the feeling you get when you're in a football crowd on a terrace.

There's nowt like it and it's a shame that it's gone from the game.

I miss it.

North by northwest is a masterpiece that was well well before its time IMO.

Double indemnity is a masterpiece too from that era.

A few other fantastic films -

This Sporting Life - a gritty rugby league film

Zulu - over 50 years old now! Battle of Rorkes Drift.

Seven Samurai - Japanese film in black and white with English sub titles and three and a half hours long!

High Noon - A Sheriff is abandoned by everyone on the day he is set to be killed.

Paint your Waggon - Quirky western musical! Hated by the critics but I think it is fantastic.

Breakfast at Tiffany's - Wonderful love story - and I hate love story's!

Cabaret - Musical set during the rise of Hitler!

The Lion in Winter - True story of sons and scheming mother fighting their father for the crown of England.

I've watched a shitload of old films over the years and they're all crap.

Awful acting, crap special effects, silly clothes.

Avatar is better than any film made pre-1985. And that's an average film in modern day terms.
