You bellend. David Cameron is against the sugar tax, he said he hadn't even read the report.

So apologise and admit David did good.

Typically predictable, inane comment by the way. You need some new material to make this character interesting.

You've made yourself look like a dick.

So you're against Cameron even when he does what you want?

Very strange attitude.

Eat them?

A production company in Preston have asked me to front a fitness and dieting DVD. Apparently the Pepsi & Twirl diet is catching on.

Bad diet kills more people than smoking. Diabetes is massively on the increase, is often self-inflicted, and puts huge strain on the NHS at a time when the hospitals can barely cope with the issues which are not to do with selfish, indulgent lifestyles. Why should smokers, the obese, those who do drugs, drinkers take up hospital beds and cause waiting times to increase at the expense of those who have tried to look after themselves? The cost to the nation is unnecessarily huge,

If you don't think a tax is the answer, what do you suggest will persuade people to be more attentive to their own health and considerate of others' potential health needs which are not caused by a self-indulgent, "sod the repercussions" attitude?

Correct, although a tax is almost a shortcut really isn't it? I think peoples attitudes to sugary products are changing - and in turn their eating habits. I don't know how desperate the situation is but I can sympathise with policy makers on this.

I don't give a shite about other people, if they want to fill their fat mouths with crap food then let them. But don't treat them for free on the NHS.

A few people dying of obesity because they couldn't afford the treatment will have a much bigger impact on other fatties than any tax.

Experts in this field have produced a report that recommends a system that has worked in other countries.....and Cameron is pig-headedly dismissive of it without even having the common sense to at least read it. This is not a prime minister who can be respected. (I used the term "pig-headed" for a reason btw!)

If you are not joking about your own diet, Natasha, I would be very concerned about the likely repercussions for your future health, even if you feel fine presently. Exercise alone will not compensate for the problems you are storing up for yourself.

Don't patronise me. A few twirls and cans of Pepsi hurt no one.

.....except yourself..... and those who may have to look after you when killer diabetes kicks in.....and those deprived of healthcare because you have bumped them further down the queue. Don't copy Cameron in stubborn lack of common sense. Look after yourself.
