Used to be a cracking chippy at the bottom of Cleggs lane, next door to what is now Betfred,run by a cockney bloke called Joe. We used to get off the bus coming back from a night match and get a bag of scratchings.
We'd often go in just to watch the chipping machine next to the counter.

Infact I have been known to use chilli sauce. Soy sauce also goes well with fish
