For a dildo with BWFC on it, don't you think they've fucked you enough

You might as well speak in Chinese Scott with Boncey being 62 years of age, he won't have a clue what one of them is!scottjames30 wrote:boltonbonce wrote:I spent £40+ in the club shop. Happy days.

I have to bow to your superior attendance record '74 but in the games I've seen there were plenty of forward passes to be made that either went astray or didn't happen as well as space in front of midfielders who didn't push on to exploit it.bwfc1874 wrote:wanderlust wrote:Totally agree and as soon as you push midfield on to provide service and join in the attack, the back gets exposed and we concede. It's about striking the right balance, not just looking at the bleeding obvious lack of goals in the team.Norpig wrote:we do need a striker but the service from midfield is pitiful. Dobbie was anonymous yesterday and Mavies needs to be playing behind the front 2.
If the the strikers were missing 8 to 10 decent chances a game, I'd agree we need a finisher. But that's not a problem we have is it?
We need to control midfield and then we can worry about the other stuff IMO.
When you operate with a lone striker as immobile as Madine and Ameobi are it's not easy for the midfielders to create chances, every player needs runs and movement in front of them and we have next to none.
Yes there are problems throughout the team but a striker would make a huge difference right now, it would lift the whole team and give us at least some form of focus for attacks.
TBF the same applied to sideways passes that would have kept possession in the middle. Either way it came down to lack of quality in the middle and that has an impact at both ends of the pitch.

The presumption is that if we had some money then a decent striker will appear.....Nope.
Every team is always on the look out for decent strikers....and the ones that actually are decent go for more money than we could never afford.
In our case for 1 mill spent on ALF you could argue that we would have at least two or three goals out of him at this point and now would be mid-lower table and relatively safe.
In a dream world if we could get Lennon 5 mill to spend that could be 5 new players at a million apiece or two at 2 mill and one for one mill....whatever way you want to cut it. Not much of an investment to stay in the Champs IMO....of course all this is just in theory.

new right back, prince, derik, new left back.
new right wing, spearing, mavies, danns, Pratley, new left wing
madine, ameobi
bannan and le fondre would still make a difference to us.
