Conor Wilkinson - who is currently out on loan at League One outfit Barnsley - has been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad for their European Championships qualifier away at Lithuania on Friday 13 November evening alongside their friendly against Norway next Tuesday, November 17.
Elsewhere, Under-21s striker Jamie Thomas looks set to feature for Wales’ Under-19s in a UEFA U19 qualifying tournament in Georgia, coming up against the host country on Thursday 12 November with meetings against Austria and Albania to follow on Saturday 14 November and Tuesday 17 November respectively.
