Police are hunting a murderer who failed to return to prison following unescorted leave.
John McDermott Wilson left HMP Gateside in Greenock, where he is serving a life sentence, on Friday.
That's it. No explanation why they have let him out of anything. The guy's a murderer serving a life sentence ffs. Unbelievable.

They cut the sugar content by 8%,and upped the honey content by 20.
I think they felt the association with sugar was a bad thing.

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!
Last night I went out to the co-op for a few bits. I parked my vectra outside, and as my keyfob has packed in, I locked the door with my key instead.
I wandered inside, bought what I needed, then returned to my car, to find that my key wouldn't go into the barrel. It must have got blocked somehow, so I knelt down next to the door, put my key on the lock and started hammering away at it with my hand to try and force it in, but it just wouldn't go in. I tried the door handle in the hope that I'd forgotten to lock it but it was definitely locked. I was at it for at least about 5 minutes but it seemed longer.
I was ready to give it up and call for help when I decided to walk round the car to try the passenger door and as I was passing the boot I looked down at it. Something wasn't right.
It was only a fucking ford mondeo!!
It was the same colour and from the front, in the dark, it looked exactly the same, only my car was parked directly behind it.
Needless to say, I felt a right tit and shuffled off to my car, got straight in and drove off.
To anyone else around, it looked as though I'd spent a good 5 minutes trying to break into someones mondeo and just drove off after my failure to do so.
I suddenly realised what it must be like to be Boncey and I reckon I've got a head start on this year's bellend of the year award.
