It all sounded so simple on the page.......

I am no longer laughing at "Ian from Bolton" who went off first.

Can you see how I gave up on the chocolate forking?

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

I like the look of those. I much prefer the fucked up mess of a finished product when it is homemade rather than the perfect specimens that come out of a packet. Yes, I did just refer to your jaffa cakes as a fucked up mess but there was a solid compliment in there if you look hard enough.

I think the chocolate could make or break them. If you used Cadbury chocolate then that's a winner. If you used cheap shit cooking chocolate then they probably taste shite.

Important question. Did they taste OK?

No.

My jelly didn't set so I used a jar of marmalade from the back of the cupboard that had "stuff" on the top instead.

Mrs B asked me if they were supposed to taste "fizzy" and I of course said yes because I thought that was a good thing.

She later expanded on this and said "fizzy like soap suds."

No longer think that's a good thing.

Tesco Value chocolate by the way, 58.

Although I don't think that was the deal breaker, if I'm honest.

Did you give them to a garage somewhere near Kearsley?  No wonder they are giving them away for free with the tyres. They sound horrific. Shame really, they look nice.

I have to say Bread, that your six Jaffa Cakes have caused much hilarity in the Bonce household.

I could offer no reasonable argument. Sorry. Very Happy

They were what they were.

Shit, ham-fisted, home-made Jaffa Cakes inspired by that doyen British baking, Mary "I made my money by telling the plebs that they could do what I done but we all know that they can't" Berry.

I hope my ineptitude has diverted Mrs B's (your one, not mine) attention away from your massive book collection for a few minutes.

If I've saved a well loved paperback copy of "Brucey - My life as a shit entertainer who's never quite been rumbled" from going to the Oxfam Shop, my job is done here....

Very Happy

And on that bombshell........I'm going to bed.
Might take a brew and a couple of Jaffa cakes.
Mind you, mustn't get chocolate stains on the blankets. I wouldn't want to explain that away. Again.

Make note of 'Shit entertainer' crack.

Goodnight all.

You wouldn't get stains from mine.

It falls off before you get chance to handle it.

See you tomorrow.

Bastard.....!

(That's where you'll end up, you know. White walled room with your imaginary panda in it. Nobody else will see it but you'll know it's there.)

And Bruce will be in the wardrobe.

Obviously.....

Is his wife called Donna, FairPlay for giving the homemade Jaffa cakes a go bread although a few marks deducted for using mouldy marmalade and smart price chocolate.
I've just made a crayon cheesecake it was delicious, but I used top class crayola topping not smart price.
