Seconded.

I don't want to be a wet blanket or anything but for those who don't follow cycling too closely, everything fell perfectly into place for Wiggins last year and will unlikely to do so again.
In the Tour for instance you need a combination of different skills to win it, Wiggins greatest skill is as a Time Trialist and the 2012 Tour was such that it gave the Time Trialist the biggest advantage - this certainly is not the case in the 2013 route. Also his two biggest rivals (not counting Evans who was there) did not race (both being tainted with drug abuse) and both should be back next year.
Similarly the gold he won at the Olympics was for Time Trialing (his strength) but again his two biggest rivals (different to the Tour two) who he could not beat in 2011, were both off form (or maybe the drug controls were tighter?), one even crashed in the Olympic road race event that was held a few days before the event Wiggins won.
But you can only beat the riders you are up against and fair play to Wiggins, he certainly was the best at the Olympics and the only man that could possibly have beaten him on the Tour was in Wiggins team and thus was riding to instructions - thus had to help Wiggins rather than compete against him - hence his two major wins of the year.
Well done though Bradley and all the best for 2013!

You need two things for cycling as far as I can see:
1) Legs to pedal with
2) A bunch of big team-mates who can block anyone from getting level/past you.
