I see they're repeating Hit and Miss - recommend it to anyone who didn't catch it first time around, but try to catch the first episode as it sets the context of the story.

I enjoyed Hit & Miss, there were many similarities with my own life.

Transsexual hitmen aren't that common TBH. Bound to be similarities.

Vegas starts tomorrow night on Sky Atlantic. Looks like a good'un, so I'm definitely giving that a go.

It looks rubbish, but I will await your verdict.

Anyone still watching 'The Following' with Kevin Bacon?

Dear me, what an absolute load of bollocks. Apart from glorifying violence in a way I've not seen before, the plot is so dumb it really is laughable. Shame on everyone involved.

Person of Interest is still the best thing on tv.

I watched it and this latest episode was pants.
The disappointing thing is that it's a decent concept. Will watch it again next week, but if it doesn't pick up again that's it. Kevin is on dog's leg.

Completely agree. It is just too stupid for words and does seem to relish the violence and torture far too much.

You'll have to wait longer as it's currently in my Sky+ planner awaiting viewing.

Why do you think it looks rubbish though?

Just watched the first episode of Vegas. It's the last one I will bother watching. Completely predictable, boring and full of cliches. Imagine combining the worst bits of CSI, the film Casino, a bog standard American detective show and put the lead good guy in a cowboy hat - only its not that good.

Thank-you. I have just deleted it from my Sky+ box.

FAO Hipster and others interested in astronomy.

A fascinating hour on mapping the Universe on BBC iplayer.

Well worth a watch if you like this sort of stuff.

Can't disagree with any of that. I'll give it another few weeks to see if things improve. It's certainly not going to be another The Sopranos or Boardwalk Empire though, that's for sure.

It's the sequel. John Belushi was dead when they made this.

You have to check out Spiral (series 4) on BBC Iplayer.

I started watching it last week and it has be up there along with all of the Scandinavian crime drama's such as The Killing - although Spiral is French and co-financed by BBC.

It is excellent and actually put a lot of our crime drama's to shame.
