I used to quite like him years ago.

He was a very talented amateur and he unified the cruiserweight division when he turned pro, before moving up to heavyweight.

He seemed quite switched on and was a refreshing change from the usual, bumbling dullards you get in the heavyweight division.

He was funny, articulate and most of all, he had the tools to get the job done.

But then he started ducking proper fights (Klischko the Younger) and only picking bouts against lesser opponents.

The Valuev fight was a farce and he did more running than Mo Farah during it.

The Ruiz fight was a decent enough test and he did ok.

But then decided to fight Audley Harrison - #pointless. Nuff said.

And then when he did finally come up against a Klitschko, he lost.

And said he had a poorly toe which stopped him from unloading bombs.

Yes, David......course you did.

And then he retired.

But now he's back, after explaining on Soccer AM yesterday that we'd all got it wrong and he hadn't actually retired at all.

I now think he's a knob who has picked his fights very carefully over the years and slid to a world title via the back door.

He's made his money and that was obviously the plan all along but I don't respect him as a fighter at all.

In fact, if he ever fought that gypo, I'd be cheering for Scotty's mate.

Anybody like him?

Never a genuine heavy in my book, but, like you,I thought he could be a breath of fresh air.

Didn't happen. Turned into a bit of a tosser.

He is fighting on the DAVE channel on Saturday, i hope he gets sparked out.

He isn't called David Haye anymore, he's called the man with no name.

I can remember one of his earlier fights when he came up against Carl Thompson from Manchester. Thompson was a warhorse and an old pro. He was getting a good hiding in the early rounds but he weathered the storm and put the heat on Haye to give him his first loss as a pro.

The man with no name steps between the ropes tonight to fight some unbeaten bum from Australia, he has a worst haircut than Andy Carroll.

Anyway it would be funny if Haye got sparked out, is anyone watching it on DAVE ?

Father in law's got one and we've been round a couple of times to watch films (which are still in the cinema) but to be honest, I wasn't impressed with the quality.

And it kept pausing itself.

But it might just be him because he's 73 and knows fuck all about modern tech but in his house, it's his remote and his rules.

Took 5 hours to watch Spectre.

By the end I'd lost the plot (literally).

Sad quality varies on cinema releases. Also if i know we are going to watch something at 9, i will start it at half eight and pause it to give it time to get a good head start.
