Just finished crispy duck an pancakes, chicken and cashew nuts with oriental rice, followed by chocolate fondants and macadamia and brittle ice cream. Three more pages of the cook book ticked off.

Ras el hanout rubbed lamb, slow cooked with dates, apricots and other stuff.
Served on a bed of couscous.
Very nice but hardly worth the hour and a half I spent roasting and grinding the spices.
I can't feel my right arm now.
(Leave it, Magoo!)

I knew you wouldn't let me down!
And to be honest, I'm not the world's biggest couscous fan either and I'd rather have had rice but Mrs B loves the shitty, grainy, horrible stuff and she's the boss.
