Where's the chips, you girl.....?

Anyroad, here's one for 58.

Aldi Cod fillets done in individual rectangular pie dishes.

Oil the bottom to stop 'em sticking and bung the fillets in.

Boil 2 tomatoes per serving in a pan for 5 mins to soften them.

Lob 'em in your wife's blender with some Basil and a splash of Balsamic to create a sauce.

Pour said sauce over the fish and liberally add pieces of chopped Choritzo.

Top with bread crumbs and cheese.

Bake in oven for 15 mins and serve with boiled new potatoes and peas & sweetcorn.

And a bottle of dry white of your choice.

As I did earlier.

Very nice.

And it's why I'm still on here posting because one bottle of wine's never enough so I raided the wine cooler and found all sorts of goodies!

Bad head tomorrow but a little bit of what you fancy doesn't do you any harm in the long run.

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

I have to say, my attempts at cooking are still non existent. Last night I drove all the way to Nandos for a take out rather than cook.

I need to get my shit together, as it's costing me a bloody fortune.

What's going on?!

Are you frightened of turning the cooker on and chopping some stuff up? Very Happy

I just have no motivation for cooking whatsoever. People seem to really enjoy cooking. I don't, I hate it. I keep thinking tonight will be the night I give it a go and then when it comes down to it I just can't bring myself to do it. I think I might need therapy.

I've given up even trying to cook. Can't stand it.

Get a pie and whack it on a barm.

Big mug of tea. Sorted.

I'd be rubbish on 'Come Dine With Me'.

Depending on what kind of pie, any salad cream on the pie barm to garnish Boncey? Very Happy

A mate of mine puts it on everything. His wife is Italian and cooks the most incredible pasta dishes but he just throws on a dollop of salad cream on regardless. Seen him do it on beans on toast too. He actually brought a bottle to our place when they came over for the weekend once - normal people bring a bottle of wine (or two)!

I made a ravioli lasagne. It was dead easy. I didn't make my own sauce or my own ravioli, Dolmio and tesco must take the credit for that, but I did stick it all in a dish and and put it in the oven. I even grated some cheese onto it. I'm well on my way to being a Michelin starred chef, it's just a matter of time.
