I've just discovered 'Poachies', little paper bags for making the perfect poached eggs. I'm useless when it comes to poaching eggs, but when I'm home alone,I always feel the need to have a go,with disastrous results usually. These little gems make it simplicity itself.

Chippy tonight. Embarassed

I think Lidl are doing crocodile & kangaroo steaks soon as well.

I think it was Lidl, it could have been Aldi. Very Happy

Let us know what it's like!

I have my money on it tasting like chicken. Smile

I've seen them at Iceland. BTW the frozen 6oz Angus burgers are fantastic from there.  £10 for 10.  (That's a quid each)

When you first asked the question I was going to say that I'd had an Ostrich burger recently and it just tasted like beef but I thought I'd keep schtum and let you make your own mind up.

Glad it's not just me.  Very Happy

You might have put the mats back in the car but you've replaced them with the blinds out of the back bedroom. Your Mrs won't be happy when she finds out.....

Dod you always chew your meat and spit it back into the bowl before serving, Karly?

9.25pm and I haven't had anything to eat yet.

It's just me and Wendy at home tonight so we're ordering a pizza and cuddling up on the couch with a bottle of wine (for her) to watch a movie later. The girls and Connor all set off back to their respective uni's this morning. Matt's out and about with his mates and although the quiet is a nice change the house feels empty without them.

They were marinated home made Thai meat balls.

Hard to keep them in a round shape when your fingers are sticky with the minced pork mix on them. Smile

After 58 has noticed my improvising with using the car mats and back bedroom blind, I have now been out and bought some proper placemats after trying to be a cheap arse.

I hope they are to your satisfaction 58! Very Happy

P.S you can't beat a bit of Sriracha sauce!

We're not posh enough to use place mats.
