At the end of the day coyle was the FANS choice. The FANS didn't want the quickquid deal either and we lost quite a bit of money on that when we had to opt for fibrlec. The FANS are setting up the trust.

Just out of interest, can anyone see the common denominator?

Coyle was shit and so are quickquid and probably the trust.

He wasn't MY choice, nor several of those around me - I always thought he was too inexperienced for us and believe me the fans NEVER got a choice or input when Gartside was around. The fact gartside had fucked up badly twice, lead him to erroneously try and placate them but don't tell me he was the 'fans' choice - he was solely the choice of Gartsides and Davies.

A LOT of fans wanted coyle and danced in the street when he first joined. A LOT. Well done you though

It is true that a lot of fans wanted coyle. He'd done a decent job there at Burnley and they played attacking football, which is what most people wanted. There was also the fact he was an ex player. I myself was happy about it at the time. Fact is, there's no way of knowing. I remember people being pissed off about bringing in a certain notts county manager. It's just the way it is.
