I've already made the offer (and have done previously in the past also).
Most forums are extremely territorial though and as you know being a regular yourself on JA606 some wont refer to other forums such as ours even by name!
I do find it staggeringly two faced of JA606 in that their main (and virtually their only) weekly thread - the match topic - is dominated by people listening to Radio Nuts (AND advertising its link which clearly shows BOLTON NUTS) yet wont allow mention of our site in posts and have even banned me from posting on there because of my involvement with Nuts.
It is clear that the owners of JA606 want to keep people clicking on there site because they are earning money through the adverts they carry on there and are paid for doing so based on the number of 'clicks' they receive accordingly!
I personally find it contemptable that a number of the owners of these forums are making money off the backs of the fans who are simply posting in good faith. They are simply being exploited for someone else to profit from - and it is for that very reason that Nuts have NO adverts or sponsors and NO ONE from this site makes any money at all from it.
All the running costs and occasional prizes of Nuts are self funded and we are happy for it to be this way because it is not our intention to exploit anybody simply because they follow the club like we do ourselves.
BA was full of fake accounts and BB had hardly any regular posters so I doubt many (if any) people from those sites will be joining us or any other forum.
If you would want to try and get people from JA606 Peter, then obviously we would welcome your attempt because as you rightly say the more people posting on the one forum the better it would be for the all of us - but please don't risk being banned for doing so.
To be fair there are a number of other BWFC forums out there namely Wanderers Ways and The Wanderer - both of which I'm banned from - the former because the owner (Neil) tried his best to kill us off when we first started up Nuts, and the latter because I asked their site management group why they refused to let anybody on there mention that Nuts existed even though they allowed frequent mention to other sites such as WW, BA and BB!
There is also Mike Smith of the Steering Groups forum from which he still posts personal abuse at me (as recently as yesterday in fact) even though I've not been on that forum in over SIX YEARS! (He was also another one who tried to kill Nuts off by buying an extremely similar domain name to ours and directing it to a male porn site).
The owners of all these other forums simply have too much of a personal agenda to want all the forums to come together in one place, and so we simply continue to do our utmost on Nuts to make this forum the best we are able to, for the enjoyment of everybody who visits Nuts currently and hopefully for others to find us in the fullness of time and want to become regulars on here too.
We may not be the biggest site out there but we are honest with people, we don't want you here simply to line our pockets with money by exploiting you and we don't fuck with people in real life because we don't like something that may have been said or done on an internet forum.
We are here simply to have a laugh together, cheer on the club whatever division it may be in and not take life all that too seriously!
If you like Nuts please spread the word, if you don't then why do you keep viewing us!
