With everyone getting carried away with the "inevitability" of Leicester winning the Prem  (me included) it seems like all the pundits missed the significance of yesterday's draw at Man United.

Whilst they were praising the benefits of getting a hard earned point they failed to realise that the only difference between drawing and losing is that it created the obscure scenario of Leicester now being able to get draws in their last two games to win the title.

If Spuds win all their games they will have 78 points and a vastly superior GD to Leicester (currently 9 goals ahead) so Leicester have to get to 79 points to be sure of winning the title.

That draw took them to 77 with two games left so they still have to beat either Everton or Chelsea - or get two more draws. Of course Spuds could hand it to them, but they shouldn't forget that the winning line is still a way off for Leicester despite the platitudinous punditry. Not quite a done deal yet.

Another scenario is that Leicester allegedly wrote some ridiculous bonuses into the player's contracts presumably because they thought their own chances of winning the Prem were minimal. Ranieri alone is supposed to be getting a £5million bonus if they win. Maybe the Leicester board have realised they'd be tens of millions better off finishing second rather than winning the title?

got a feeling it could be a draw tonight which is enough for Leicester.

People have been talking about Leicester winning as a foregone conclusion for weeks. Very naive in my opinion as both Everton (albeit shit) and Chelsea (likely to play out of their skins tonight AND throw the game against Leicester to prevent Spurs winning it) are more than capable of beating them.

My fingers and toes are crossed for Leicester but I think tonights Chelsea v Spurs game is their BEST opportunity to win it.

Leicester will win it, they've been pretty consistent all season, even in this nerve biting run-in they've hardly faltered.

If Spurs and Leicester were level on points with 2 games to go I'd still fancy Leicester.

Either way a new team will win the premiership which is a good thing. Leicester winning it will be all the more remarkable but for me it's been the shake up the league had needed for a while.

Will it be business as usual next year?

Chelsea, city, arsenal, liverpool and united occupying the top 5 or will this give spurs and Leicester the impetus to push on even more?

Completely agree, mate. Very refreshing but I just really, really want it to be Leicester.

Me too.  Especially after meeting quite a few of their fans at varying stages of the season.  Even the majority of them can't believe it

Pathetic from Spurs. You work all season to get yourself in a position to win the league - 10 minutes left plus loads of injury time and you waste it trying to foul the other team, rather than score the goal that could keep you in the running.

Absolutely embarrassing. Where were the 8 men upfront? Where was the bombardment of the Chelsea goal?

It's become far too clinical in recent years. We need more games like that.
