He managed to delve into some of his back catalogue nicely with some of my faves. Fortunately I got a ticket before the gig for Liverpool in August, now sold out, and look forward to more of the same.

Lucky man, i love neil young and would love to see him live. Unknown Legend is one of my fave's, did he play it?
Bob Zimmerman? I like a lot of his stuff (much to the amusement of my mates) but he has written some classic songs and great albums like BOTT. Wouldn't go to see him these days.Soul Kitchen wrote:WL
I have been into CSNY as artists for 40+ years and NY has been the main man for me. However I do know that he is somewhat "odd", a mark itself of someone gifted, but I have to say he has recorded some dross.
Stills has never floated my boat solo, and lookin back has somewhat under acheived compared to Young. Ironic really considering early doors Stills accused Young of holding his career back!
How do you stand with Zimmers? Are you going to Blackpool? He's another that doesn't do it for me.

NY used them as a vehicle for himself as indeed he did with everyone. I think you and I have music as a big thing in our lives and long may it continue. However as time goes by collateral occurs, Ray Manzarek as a recent example.
One of my close friends just spent big money havin his turntable re conditioned and thinks nowt of spending 5 grand on a pair of speakers!
