Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!
Things are getting way out of hand in America. A war is starting between the black community and the police force and incidents like this won't help at all.
How can that shooting be justified, it's just ridiculous. Even if you comply and do exactly as you're told with you're hands in the air and still get shot then there is no hope.

It's only going to get worse if Donald gets to build his wall.

I read a few articles about this after the last police killings and subsequent attack on the police.Bwfc1958 wrote:Things are getting way out of hand in America. A war is starting between the black community and the police force and incidents like this won't help at all.

The most interesting one basically was saying it isn't racial in the normal sense but comes down to implicit bias. Meaning as soon as they are confronted by a black man they automatically feel more threatened than being in the same situation as a white man and therefore are more likely to shoot, this doesn't just apply to white police officers but also to black and Hispanic officers too.
It goes on to talk about the recruitment adverts and how they appeal to certain types of people and also the training and how much of it is geared to self safety and very little to confrontation resolution.
It states that 1149 people were killed as a result of lethal force by police officer.
Here it is to read in it's entirety

The American Police are far too trigger happy imo. Why do they feel the need to pump multiple rounds into a suspected perpetrator when one bullet will suffice?

To be fair that comes from the top down, there is a case for saying they are trigger happy when it comes to matters of foreign policy.Reebok Trotter wrote:The American Police are far too trigger happy imo.
