Goalkeeper Ben Alnwick has had a medical and looks set to sign on a free from Peterborough United.

Tom Thorpe is in talks over a loan move from Rotherham. Reports in South Yorks claimed Gary Madine was heading the other way but that has since died down.

Crystal Palace striker Keshi Anderson is wanted by Wanderers. He has also travelled north for talks.

Wolves winger James Henry is also said to be close to a move to the Macron on loan and has turned down Charlton, according to my friends in the capital.

Tom Walker could be on his way out on loan to Bury. Leyton Orient have also enquired.
