Dicks on a plane...

No not another movie.

Rather,  the Emirates 777 crash landing at Dubai airport in which all 300 people on board escaped with their lives moments before the plane burst into flames and burned the roof off. 



Now I am glad that everyone one got off in time but I was gobsmacked when I saw a video from inside the plane showing everyone opening the overhead lockers to reclaim their belongings before jumping down the emergency slides... 

If your plane has just crash landed and smoke is filling the cabin please just get off the plane without clogging up the aisles while you get your fucking bag of shit. 

There could have been a lot of very dead very stupid people had the fire caught hold faster... but at least they would have had their bags.

More importantly there could have been a lot of dead not stupid people who couldn't get off because the stupid ones were blocking the exits.

It's the world we live in. I bet most of them were trying to get their mobile phones so they could check their e-mail before they potentially died.

In fairness, where would they all have been without their phones. How could they have tagged in on facebook, at Plane Crash, or took a selfie next to the burning plane?

But think man, how would their loved ones, friends, and those they met once in a pub in an obscure place know what they had for dinner, or if they had been to the gym?

There is a lot more at stake here than just a little plane crash...

Yes but think how much more efficient they'd be if they could carry their bags in their arms and their mobile phone had been conveniently shoved up their arse by someone trying to get off a burning plane.
