Loan watch: Duo handed debuts

Tom Walker and Conor Wilkinson were both handed debuts following their respective deadline day loan moves on Saturday.


Having seen Bury take a 4-1 lead over Port Vale, Walker came on as 79th minute substitute in place of James Vaughan as the Shakers clinched victory at Gigg Lane.

Meanwhile, Wilkinson replaced Reece Mitchell after 66 minutes as Chesterfield conceded to lead to suffer a last-minute 2-1 defeat away at AFC Wimbledon.

Elsewhere, George Newell was an unused substitute as AFC Fylde drew 2-2 at home with Gloucester City.
