Tom Walker scored his first goal for Bury on Tuesday night as they lost away at Bradford City in the Checkatrade Trophy.
The wideman completed the full 90 minutes for the Shakers, who found themselves 2-0 down at the break as the Bantams took control of proceedings after two goals in quick succession from Haris Vuckic and Jordy Hiwula.
Walker halved the deficit in the 69th minute with a well-taken individual goal, finishing coolly after beating two Bradford defenders.
However, Bury were unable to find a late equaliser as they eventually fell to a 2-1 defeat.
