Wanderers' Under-18s snatched a point at the death against their Leeds United counterparts in their latest league outing on Saturday.

The Elland Road outfit started the stronger of the two sides in the clash, putting Nicky Spooner's side under pressure from the off. Bolton however defender well as a unit and grew into the game as the half progressed.

Growing in confidence, the Trotters started to attack at pace and cause the home side a number of problems inside the opening 45 minutes.

Their endeavours eventually paid off too, with Ryan White's corner finding Shakeel Jones-Griffths at the far post who in turn crossed for Harry Brockbank to tap home.

The second half meanwhile started as the first had with Leeds enjoying a period of pressure which eventually produced an equalising goal from outside of the area.

Buoyed by their leveller, the home side pushed to take the lead and were rewarded 20 minutes from time as they doubled their tally for the afternoon.

Despite falling behind, Wanderers showed good character and in the dying embers of the clash secured a 90th minute equaliser.

Dennis Politic received the ball, ran at the United defence and beat two players before striking low across the goalkeeper into the bottom corner of the net to ensure that the spoils were shared come full time.

Bolton: Hilton, Pearson, Lonsdale, Marsh, Brockbank, Grivosti, Politic, Jones-Griffiths, White, Moore, Abdo
