Do you have a routine for a home game?

Do you pitch up at 3pm and take your seat or do you arrive early and have a drink first or simply walk round to soak up the atmosphere?

If you have a drink, what pub(s) do you use?

Personally I arrive just before kick-off, but my Dad can often be found at the Reebok two hours before kick-off, having a pint, talking to anyone who will listen.

And if you don't go to the games do you still have a routine i.e. always sat in from of Jeff Stelling & Co at 3pm?

Always arrive at Ewood pretty early to get a few pints down my neck. Usually get in a scrap around 2pm with the visiting fans. After I've knocked a few heads together I take my seat and sing my heart out for the boys. After the game I sink a few more pints, twat a few away fans if they're still around, then home for a quick change and out on the town to wow the ladies.

Well up until end of last season it ws up at 8am - shower, the off out to the gym. 10am another shower and change into jeans, t-short/shirt and depending on weather depends on which jacket and start the 1hr travel into a-dam (normally catch the 1103 express from Almere Centrum to A-dam Centraal) get to Satellite Sports Cafe around 1140 and day of drink, chat and footie (normally able to see about 7 games at same time, on different screens - every now and again a Championship game - normally for a mate of mine who is a Crystal Palace fan - so hopefully get to see more than 2 games this coming season then) after all the footy then off to Waterhole foe a few games of pool and then Trinity for a more elxaing beer before catching the 136 train home.

As I say that was last 5.5 years - it may change from this season due to not being able to watch all Bolton matches!!!! Possibly watch more of Soccer Saturday or even give Score (on BBC red button) a chance

I don't think she wanted it in so much detail. I won't touch my lunch now having visioned you in the shower.

Why are you thinking of Mr Amos in the shower? Do you have a man-crush on him?

We tend to arrive about 20 minutes before kick off at the ground. We go straight to the bar in the WSL, order 2 pints of that disgusting lager, buy 2 lager tokens for half time, order a packet of crisps, or quavers, buy 2 meat & potato pies, or 1 meat and potato pie and sometimes a chicken balti pie. I then give the illegal immigrant, working behind the counter a £20 note and then see how much money I have made.

Haha quality post! Very Happy

We usually get into the ground 15mins before the game starts and walk around the shops before we go in, there is only so many times you can walk into the bolton shop and stare at the ''priceless'' signed stuff they have for sale.

And soak up the atmosphere Nat?....Really?.....Theres a better atmosphere in a GPs waiting room.

If I'm going on my own, even though it's not a very pleasant experience, I get one of the subsidised buses. I live right at the beginning of one of the longest bus routes, it takes an hour to get to the Reebok, and doesn't arrive until about half an hour before kick off. So it dictates my matchday routine completely.

When I get through the turnstiles I usually buy two golden
gamble tickets. Sometimes there's no golden gamble seller to be seen so I put the two quid on a first scorer/correct score combo. Then I visit the loo and go through into the stand.

Unless its a packed house I ignore my seat allocation and usually sit at the back of the stand near the half way line, best place for an Internet signal. Near the end of the second half I move down to a seat near the exit. The official buses don't hang about and are often busier on the way back, so it's necessary to make a quick getaway on the whistle to be sure I will get on.

Sounds as though you live on BWFC Bus 12 route. As when i am at home I catch that and takes over an hour to get to the stadium - plus it has to be one of the windiest of the subsidised routes ever in football buses!!!

No Chris, I'm afraid we're not occasional bus companions. If you look at the timetable there are many routes that take about an hour.

I'd love it if you two were bus chums.

No offence Largehat but no one knows bus timetables like Mr Amos, he could well be your companion for the Derby game.

I don't know if you're aware, but he lives in Holland.

I suppose if he is over here he could commute to the outer reaches of the BWFC bus footprint and catch a different one each time. But then he doesn't know what I look like and there are two buses on the route.

I think I am pretty safe from being bored to death about Almere, fried chicken franchise establishment, Nigel De Jong's sister, hairy armpitted German girls, how Coyle has let Lofthouse down and circumventing the banning process on Burnden Aces for an hour on the way to the game for now.
