Wanderers announce Club’s first ever back of shirt sponsor Zach-sponsor-4x3201-3523947_613x460

Bolton Wanderers Football Club is delighted to announce that local company, The TVD Group, have become the Club’s first ever official ‘Back of Shirt’ sponsor with their new range, Mitchell & Brown LED TV, which carries a full Seven-Year Warranty across the range.

The Bolton-based TV suppliers will have their branding emblazoned on the back of the players’ shirts for the remainder of the season across all competitions – including Tuesday night’s Emirates FA Cup replay against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park - and, as a Platinum Partner, will also have advertising opportunities across all stadium-wide digital assets at Macron Stadium.

Wanderers’ Commercial Manager John Ashley said: “We are delighted that Mitchell & Brown have agreed to become our first ever official ‘Back of Shirt’ sponsor.

“It is great to have a successful local business exploring the potential here at Bolton Wanderers Football Club and we look forward to continuing our long-held relationship with Mitchell & Brown.

“Directors, Mat and Dan, have staunchly supported the club for many years, and Mat is also a trustee of the Bolton Wanderers Community Trust helping to deliver valuable community projects around the town.”

Mat Brown of TVD & Mitchell and Brown commented: "As both supporters and commercial partners of the Wanderers for over 40 years, we are honoured and extremely proud to make history on becoming Bolton Wanderers’ first ever official ‘Back of Shirt’ sponsor and to see our own brand of LED TV on the shirts of the Super Whites.

“We will receive regular nationwide television, digital and printed press exposure, which will showcase our brand to football fans up and down the country.

"We appreciate all the hard work everyone has done on both sides in putting this agreement in place.”

Dan added: “The Mitchell & Brown brand and range is very close to our hearts; the name originates from the late Jim Brown, our Dad, who was a Bolton Wanderers supporter all his life. ‘Mitchell’ being Dad’s mother’s maiden name and ‘Brown’ Dad’s surname. The JB-1811 range relating to Jim Brown and 1811 (18 November) our Dad’s birthday.”

The range comprises of LED TVs from 24” to 65”. Each TV in the range is packed with extensive features including T2 Freeview HD, Smart, 4K UHD, Freeview Play built in, which offers catch-up TV directly from the scroll-back TV guide and DVD combination screens. The models have been carefully selected to provide an exciting new, stylish and high-quality TV range, offering the latest technology and great designs at affordable prices.

Mitchell & Brown TVs are manufactured by Europe’s largest TV manufacturer, created by people with a reputation for quality and service. In addition to this, every Mitchell & Brown TV includes an impressive and industry leading Seven-Year Warranty across the range.

Good to see the club earning extra money for sponsorship, hopefully we won't end up owing them like we do with Macron

You can't deny it's a possibility.

I have to believe that the club has benefited from the deal in some capacity. Even if Ken's missus is getting a new smart tv installed in her new office.

I've seen good reports of these TV's. Good luck to this local firm investing in their local club.

I wonder why football clubs don't cover their shirts, socks, shorts - and in some cases headbands, gloves and masks - with sponsorship like they do in tennis where they have "strategically placed" signage all over the shop.

I seriously wouldn't bother.

These are mass produced rebadged shite made by Vestle in Turkey.

At those prices I would rather have a better known brand like Samsung for example.
