The Tory party domestic record on the NHS, education, social care, policing, national debt, poverty does not stand up to scrutiny.

No need to shout at me , and that's a very ambiguous statement. I accept their record isn't the best, and recent decisions have made it a great deal worse, and very difficult for all of us. However, lets think about why they have got us all in this situation. As a nation, we are still living above our means. Some families may feel this is acceptable, by maxing out all available cards, income, etc, but as a nation, we just can't do it. If we did, then it would only be a short while before the country was bankrupt, and then we would really see the difference.
At the moment its petty politics that are interesting the parties after the election, but hopefully they'll all start looking in the same direction soon, and start pulling us out of this dreadful situation.

What I would say is that all his cabinet, first and second iterations all jumped ship, which is rather more telling than any comments thrown his way. He was ridiculed by his own party. As they say in the adverts, 'priceless !'y2johnny wrote:Snide comments by labour? Conservatives spent 1.2 million.....yes MILLION on snide comments against JUST corbyn.
As for his resurrection and second coming, we'll need to give him time to see, if this particular leopard has changed his spots.

And all those who ridiculed him where applauding him on his first day back yesterday. Whats that tell you. They got it wrong. If they had backed him in the girst place it may have been a different storygloswhite wrote:What I would say is that all his cabinet, first and second iterations all jumped ship, which is rather more telling than any comments thrown his way. Don't agree. Like all good politicians, there's nothing like a u-turn to further your own career, especially as they realised they have a better chance of getting somewhere with him than without him, (at the moment)

The Tories were helped by the resurgence of the Conservatives in Scotland led by Ruth Davidson. May's union with the DUP isn't going to sit well with Ruth especially as the DUP are against same sex marriage and Ruth is openly gay. Also when it comes to Brexit, the Scottish will want their fishing rights restored. At the moment, under EU Law, the Danes for example, catch a large portion of fish in Scottish waters.

I was just looking ahead Jonny, and sure enough, Mr Corbyn has joined in what is now an accepted political move, and performed his own u-turn, by allowing Owen Wotsit back in his Cabinet. Although Deputy Northern Ireland Secretary isn't the most high-profile job going.y2johnny wrote:So you don't agree but then go on to explain how you agree........ are you May in disguise

Lets be honest, its all bollocks at the moment, and its going to be a day-by-day toil for everyone involved to sort it out. It won't be too long before everyone is so pissed off, that all these to-ings and fro-ings will calm down, (and then we can argue about something else )

Oppostion leader Jeremy Corbyn is to grace Worthy Farm with his presence at next week's Glastonbury Festival.
The Labour supremo, who has been officially endorsed by the UK grime scene, will address crowds at the Pyramid Stage on the Saturday afternoon before introducing US rap duo Run The Jewels.
The American hip hop act were vocal in their support of Democrat Bernie Sanders during his unsuccessful campaign for the US Presidency last year, while Corbyn himself was forced to cancel his scheduled appearance at the festival last year following the EU referendum.
Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis will appear on stage with Corbyn and he told the Guardian newspaper: "We're Corbyn fans, that's the thing.
"He's got something new and precious, and people are excited about it. He really is the hero of the hour."
