As I have said before ...... can't wait to play a powerhouse side like Barnsley away....could be 4 or 5 nowt before half time.
Meanwhile not only are we losing but sounds like Pompy are in full control with only two professional players on staff....... what me worry !!!

Don't worry, Coyle is taking the positives from this performance.

I don't understand why, you must be loving watching that shambles in person. We're getting absolutely murdered.

I haven't seen much of the match, I've copped off with Ben Haim's brother.

Very tempted to make a comment about circumcision or money hoarding, but I won't.

Reading twitter.

There's a guy on there who has decided Tim Ream is shit after "reading the commentary" for this game.

Burnley must be thinking about an easy 3 points to start the season ....

Brilliant, getting hammered by 7 men and a dog.

Are we really 3-0 down against Portsmouth who have no players? Have we reached a new low?

You don't have to wait any longer, terranceanne.

This from the BWFC live feed:

"The Bolton fans are going wild as a big Haribo bear launches sweets into the away end."

I regret driving to Portsmouth now, I've decided to leave early. I'll be back home for 5pm.

It's only a friendly. Let's not be a bunch of whiny twats.

Just got back from the match. Awful. Just awful.
Think I may cheer myself up with a trip to Spice Valley in Horwich!
Is it still any good?

Here's a quote from The Bolton News I just read:

"Coyle sought assurances from his opposite number Michael Appleton that the team Wanderers were about to face would be of sufficient standard to make the trip worthwhile."

It's all going to be fine, Burnley have just lost 4-0 at Cheltenham.

We should be using these friendlies to get into the swing of playing how we want to play in the coming season - not just as a fitness exercise.

Either enough quality simply isn't there, or the players see these matches as just a bit of a run around - in which case they're not getting anything more out of the games than they could get from the training ground.
