What a game it was. Has there ever been a better player than Mo Salah in the Premier League era?

Fernandes is a disgrace of a footballer, spends all his time moaning at literally everyone. His play acting and actually pushing the linesman were ridiculous, why he wasn't punished for that i'll never know.
Nice to see them get beat 7-0 though

Some talk today about whether Pep's time at City should be judged on his winning, or not winning, the Champions League.
I really don't get it. What is the CL? A bunch of pretty meaningless group games, when most of the usual suspects go through, followed by two legged knock out ties, most of which are affected by luck, injuries, poor refereeing, and sometimes all three. It's a money making lottery.
Quite frankly, it's just the Carabao Cup with its tits out.

What is the Champions League? The greatest tournament in the world. I love it.
Often the football is outstanding, with some really open games, and less teams playing for a 0-0 from minute one. Even the referees are better, much less tolerant of diving and time wasting than the English numpties.
There are some right grumpy old men on this site today.

It's bollocks. I only start watching at the semi final stage. It can get interesting then, but not worth the endless dross we've had to tolerate in the early stages.Natasha Whittam wrote:What is the Champions League? The greatest tournament in the world. I love it.

And most of the teams competing aren't even champions.

Soothsayer knew something about the Ides of March:- Brighton's goal this week was scored by Solly March in the 15th minute of the 15th March.

Mitrovic only gets an 8 game ban. seems a bit short to me, should have been at least 10 matches compared to other similar incidents.

I wish the FA would give similar bans for diving. It's absolutely out of control at all levels. Even the England captain was at it last night.

Liverpool v Arsenal. One of the best games you will ever see. Absolute onslaught by Liverpool in the last 20 minutes, Ramsdale's save from Salah incredible.

Totally agree. What a fantastic game of football that was! While I'm sure Klopp will be delighted with the second-half performance, he must be fucking livid with his squad. How is it they can turn up like that against league leaders Arsenal and absolutely pummel Man Utd but have been utter shite most weeks? Players get away with murder these days – destroying managers' careers left right and center.Natasha Whittam wrote:Liverpool v Arsenal. One of the best games you will ever see. The match was really exciting. It's a shame that both teams didn't get the result they wanted for the season. Liverpool were hardly counting on 5th place and Arsenal's championship just slipped through their fingers...finlaymcdanger wrote:

Bournemouth have just sacked Gary O'Neil! Ridiculous decision, he was up there for coach of the year with the job he did turning Bournemouth around.
