And that was about £75,000 more than he was worth.

Still lots of chat about Anichebe, which is disappointing after looking at Stokes and Kramer both of whom have excellent scoring records, whereas Victor has only scored every blue moon.
I would have thought that we need a proper goalscorer if we're in for a big fella and I'm worried that we'll live to regret not going the extra mile to secure one.

Would rather Anichebe than Stokes, can't say I've seen anything of Kramer to judge him.

Nothing in Victor Anichebe link as things stand. Some doubt as to whether he was even released by Beijing in time to be able to play for a second club. Either way, #bwfc keeping distance for now.

Fitness-wise, Wanderers being very, very careful not to sign anyone who needs 4-5 weeks to sharpen up. Wasted money. Made that mistake before, too...

We just know that now Ken's trousered the Madine money, it's inevitable Wilbraham will be given the role sooner or later. The midgets will be given a couple of games to see if they can pass their way through defences like City do and when panic stations set in the big man will make his entrance.
