No the club runs like any other business.

If the revenue doesn't cover the expenditure then the owner needs to increase money into it, or reduce costs, accordingly - even Davies got to the point were he said enough was enough.

We are still paying premier league wages to the likes of Pratley and our last home gate was 16,000.  On top of that we've got Holdsworth's BM debt hanging over us and we've just settled a HMRC debt.

The trading forecast for this season is that we will run up a £6 million debt.

So the belief from you and the various other moonmen around on social media that Anderson is plundering the club to line is own pockets whilst not addressing the clubs ongoing and outstanding liabilities is a malicious joke at best and probably verging on being libellous at worst.

You have absolutely no proof whatsoever to back up your continual allegations about Mr Ken Anderson, as the voices you must hear in your head don't count in real life.

Unless of course you can come up with a list of things that he's sold that haven't been nailed down as per your claim.

We all will wait in eager anticipation to read that.

In a recent poll,80% of Sunderland fans said they'd take him back on a free. No brainer.

We'd do well to get him.

With Anichebe's name having been banded about so much in the media recently it's surprising Nixon doesn't name him - if it's him. I wonder if it's someone else as Parky said that we weren't bringing anyone in after Anichebe's trial with the club?

Aah!

Apparently he is a defensive midfielder (not centre back) and so it makes more sense!

Must be intended cover for Henry (which to be honest I thought would have been a priority in the window just gone).

Might be something in this then.

Kirschoff was brilliant under Allardyce, defensive midfielder who had played CB in Germany. He really was a lynchpin for Big Sam I’d be pleased to get him - although sceptical on his long term fitness given his current situation.

This is a player I've seen at Mainz a couple of times a few years back and he was good then but he played CB for the most part. Got the opportunity to sign for Bayern and basically disappeared until Sunderland got him. Good on the ball and great in the air, decent passer, not very quick though. On his day he could do a decent job in midfield, so could end up as a utility player, however I''m concerned that he hasn't played for over a year and moreover why he hasn't played.
If he's half the player he was he'd be a great addition - but it doesn't do much for our attacking options which I still think need strengthening.
