A halloween trip to Sunderland holds no frights for Wanderers defender Mark Beevers.

Nerves are already on edge at the Stadium of Light, where Black Cats boss Simon Grayson has struggled in his first few months in charge.

Sunderland have not won at home in 10 months and reports at the weekend suggest failure to beat Wanderers could cost the former Preston North End chief his job.

The Whites appear to have steadied the ship after their own nightmarish start and are now three games unbeaten.

Beevers summed the new-found confidence in the camp following a battling draw at Fulham.

“We’re not wet behind the ears,” he told The Bolton News. “We’ve got players who have played in the Premier League and the Championship – and have vast experience. It doesn’t faze anyone, no matter what team we go against or what ground we’re playing at. That’ll be the same at Sunderland on Tuesday.

“I think in my experience this is the toughest the Championship has been but we know we have got players who are good enough to compete.

“They have had a bad time of it this season but we’re going there to do a job on them.”

The team has improved but poor defending and keeping on all 3 goals last night.
Was shocked at the attendance ,shocking atmosphere apart from Bolton fans. Another win tossed away. Two home games now need at least 4 points.
