Wanderers youngsters get back to winning ways after a 5-4 away victory at Huddersfield Town.

Wanderers again got off to a bright start with Navarro getting in behind the opposition defence, causing problems.

This bright start was rewarded after five minutes when Moulden headed home a Navarro corner to give Wanderers the lead.

The home side hit back immediately, before Navarro restored the Trotters lead by winning and converting a penalty sending the keeper the wrong way.

The Whites doubled their advantage after Barnes latched on to Smith’s through ball before slotting home.

Huddersfield responded well before the break scoring two quick-fire goals and levelling the scores.

Despite Wanderers having plenty of chances to regain their advantage, it was the home side who took the lead for the first time in the second-half.

The youngsters weren’t disheartened however, and were instantly rewarded with Graham equalising with only his first touch of the afternoon.

With 10 minutes remaining the spirit was evident amongst the U18’s and Connell headed home the deserved winner.

Wanderers managed to see out the rest of the ten minutes to clinch victory where three under 16’s finished on the pitch.

Bolton: Aspinall, Moulden, Edmondson, Smith, Broughton, Hartsthorne, Darcy, Connell, Moore, Navarro, Barnes
