To be fair there is something in the players knowing a system - even a shit one - than playing to no system at all.

Whether we like it or not Ameobi is an asthmatic and seems to fade in the latter parts of games if not subbed and Alf and Clough two annoying midges to be swatted rather than a cutting edge attack duo.

It would surprise me to see Walker and Wilbraham to play the lone striker again in this formation in more games to come particularly if we ever lose Ameobi to suspension or injury.

Maybe Karacan's re-emergence may give Parkinson something to think about, maybe even at the expense of ALF/Clough starting.
